Head Coach: Greg Soltes

Greg, a Barons alum, is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Greg was born and raised in Rocky River and played junior hockey on the east coast in the EJHL and AJHL before moving on to the NCAA. Greg is entering his eighth season as a head coach in the Barons organization (ninth overall) where he has worked with mite, squirt, and peewee age groups. He previously coached the 2012s, 2008s, and the 2009s where his team was a semi-finalist at the prestigious International Silver Stick AAA Minor Atom Finals in Whitby, Ontario. Greg was formerly an instructor with Turcotte Stickhandling and previously ran the power skating program for Rocky River Youth Hockey. In addition, he has worked with the Ohio Hockey Project and currently serves as Hockey Director for the Rocky River Youth Hockey program.

Head Coach: Matt Davis

Matt grew up playing hockey in Rocky River, Cleveland Americans before continuing into the Cleveland Barons program at Bantam.  He was a member of the 98-01 Cleveland Barons Junior A team in 01 and 02.  He then played for the Omaha Lancers and received a scholarship to Miami University.  He finished his hockey career with the AHL Philadelphia Phantoms in 06-07.  He has been coaching locally in Cleveland since 2009 at programs such as Rocky River, Team Cleveland High School pre-post.  As an alumni of the Cleveland Barons he looks forward  to coaching  another season with the program.
