Greg, a Barons alum, recently finished his collegiate career in 2016 at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Greg was born and raised in Rocky River and played his junior hockey on the east coast in the EJHL and AJHL. Greg enters his second season with the Barons organization and works with a number of individual players in the Cleveland area. He was formerly an instructor with Turcotte Stickhandling Hockey School, works extensively with the Ohio Hockey Project, and often runs Sunday skills for the Barons.
This is Cody’s second season with the Barons organization. Originally from Sarasota, Florida, Cody relocated to Cleveland in 2007 and spent 3 years on the prep team at Gilmour Academy. Cody played his junior hockey in the CJHL and NAHL which led him to Providence, Rhode Island, where he played his college hockey at Johnson& Wales University. He was named captain after his freshman year and helped set the school record for most wins in a single season as a sophomore. His coaching experience includes working with fellow Barons coaches Greg Soltes and Russ Sinkewich at the Ohio Hockey Project. Cody brings a deep passion for developing youth hockey talent in the Cleveland area.
Mark is a local product who played junior hockey with the Barons in the early 1990’s at both the Junior B and Tier II A levels. In four years of goaltending in junior hockey, he also spent time in the Alberta Junior Hockey League and Mid-Western Ontario Junior Hockey League; which included being named Team MVP. His coaching experience includes two seasons as NDCL High School Assistant Coach, a stint as the Cleveland Americans Jr. B Goalie Coach, and working a Mitch Korn Goaltending Camp. Mark is currently one of the Hockey Directors for the Euclid Youth Hockey Association, and has recently coached for the Panthers 8U, 10U, and 12U.
